Dr Lorna Oliver

Partner at Sherbourne Medical Centre since 1997.

Graduated from Birmingham University in 1992 and subsequently gained Membership of the Royal College of Practitioners, Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.

Experience prior to General Practice: SHO rotations in A&E, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Psychiatry.

Outside interests: Horse riding, walking my dog, Leicester City FC, listening and dancing to live music and enjoying nice food and wine

Holds a Master’s Degree in Sports & Exercise Medicine from the University of Nottingham (2003) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Primary Care from the University of Leeds (2010). Gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2005.

Dr Anouk Gupta

General Practitioner

Graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2000 and the University of Manchester in 2003 with MBChB. Completed GP training in Dudley having completed training rotations in Psychiatry, General Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Gained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2010 and also holds the Diploma from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. Also has additional qualifications to fit contraceptive implants and coils.

Outside interests: Running (completed 5 half marathons), squash (play at Leamington Lawn Tennis and Squash Club), skiing, playing the piano, and spending time with family.

Dr Jessica O'Brien

Practice Nurse

Emily graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2014. She has worked in Cardiology at Papworth Hospital for 2 years, then in the Emergency Department at UHCW for 10 years before making the move to primary care. She joined Sherbourne Medical Centre in 2026.

Outside Interests: enjoys time with family, walking her 3 labradors, cooking and music.

Rachel

Healthcare Assistant

I am a Healthcare Assistant at Sherbourne Medical Centre and have been working here for 20 years.

I work 4 days a week and have a varied role, including health checks, bloods, ECGs, injections, wound dressings and many other things.

I really enjoy my role and interacting with our patients, some of which I have been caring for, for many years.

Tracey

Research Nurse

Tracey qualified from the Oxford School of Nursing in 1983 and worked in General Practice for over 30 years as a Practice Nurse, specialising in chronic conditions. Tracey joined Sherbourne Medical Centre in September 2021 to take on the role of the Clinical Research Nurse working alongside the Principal Investigator on the trials within the surgery.

Tracey relaxes by reading, particularly historical material and crime fiction and genealogy. Tracey is studying with the Society of Genealogists and also runs a local family history group. In terms of physical activity Tracey’s main interests are walking, running and yoga.

Natalie Chamberlain

Practice Manager

Natalie is the Practice Manager and is responsible for the day to day running of the practice.

She would be happy to hear your views and suggestions about the service offered by the practice.
